Kisha Hemphill Powell, MS, CMP, is an accomplished Events and Marketing Executive at the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) since October 2013, where responsibilities include shaping the strategic vision for conferences and events, marketing initiatives, and managing event logistics and budgets. Kisha also serves as the CEO and Owner of Designer Event Concepts LLC, providing consulting services in project management, events, and marketing within the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Previous experience includes Program Manager at the University of Maryland, College Park, where Kisha coordinated services for over 60 events, generating significant revenue for the university, and Editorial Assistant at America's Community Bankers, where design and writing responsibilities were pivotal.
