Philip Neveu

Philip (Gregg) Neveu has extensive work experience in the field of information security and risk management. Philip (Gregg) is currently serving as the Director of Information Security and Risk at Act-On Software, Inc. since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Syniti from July 2017 to August 2021, where they held the position of Information Security and Risk Manager/ISMS Manager. During their tenure, they were responsible for establishing strategies, policies, and procedures for information security and risk functions. Philip (Gregg) also implemented and maintained controls to ensure ISO27001 certification continuity.

Before joining Syniti, Neveu served as a Systems Security Analyst at Lifespan from November 2016 to June 2017. Prior to that, they held the role of Network Security Sr. Advisor at Dell SecureWorks from February 2015 to November 2016. Neveu also gained significant experience at Citizens Bank, where they worked from 2003 to 2015 in various positions including Senior Security Architect, Forensic Investigations Manager, Senior Security Engineer, and Sr. App/NOS Support Engineer.

Neveu's career began in 1975 with the US Marine Corps, where they worked as a Computer Specialist until 1988. Philip (Gregg) then entered into various contracting positions as a System Engineer and Admin Contractor, working with multiple organizations such as FMGlobal, NECX, Newcourt Financial, AstraZeneca, Boston EquiServ, Mentor Graphics, The Dodge Group, and J.

In 2015, Philip (Gregg) Neveu attended SAN Training where they focused on IT Security, specifically in the areas of Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership. Philip (Gregg) did not receive a degree from this program.
