Chris Sundell

Chris Sundell is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure management and engineering. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Infrastructure at ACT since February 2015, Chris has successfully built and led an engineering team, overseeing projects and collaborating with third-party vendors while directing a significant redesign of infrastructure services. Previously, Chris held roles at Athene USA and Aviva USA, including Director of IT Infrastructure System Support and Platform Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included supervising key infrastructure platforms and nurturing provider relationships. Chris began a career in database management at American Republic Insurance and American Enterprise, ultimately obtaining a B.A. in Management of Information Systems from Iowa State University.
