Ger Moroney

Ger Moroney is an experienced Program Manager at the University of Limerick since August 2018 and has held the position of Senior Manager - IT & Engineering at Actavo since June 2014, where responsibilities include managing large engineering and IT projects, implementing a Continuous Improvement Programme, and introducing technology-led solutions for enhanced efficiency. Prior to these roles, Ger Moroney served at Dell from February 2000 to May 2014, advancing through various positions including Director of Global Supply Chain Program Management, where management of a senior team focused on major changes to Dell's supply chain model, and leading the transition of European manufacturing to an outsourced model in Asia. Ger Moroney's earlier roles at Dell involved overseeing engineering projects and strategies within manufacturing, culminating in the design of a groundbreaking assembly process that became a global standard. Ger Moroney holds a Bachelor of Technology in Production Management from the University of Limerick, awarded in 1993.
