Thierry Fumeaux

Dr. Fumeaux was head of the Internal Medicine ward and the ICU of a Swiss regional hospital in Nyon, for over 15 years. He spent 4 years of his training in a research lab to study the immuno-inflammatory responses to infection and its intracellular signaling regulation. He was adjunct Professor of medicine at Geneva University, and most recently served as the executive president of the Swiss Society of Intensive Care Medicine from 2018-2020, and as president of the Clinical Care expert group of the Swiss National Covid-19 Scientific Task Force in 2020.
