Alexander Thurow

Alexander Thurow has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Alexander started their career in 1998 as a Trainee at TUI International GmbH and later became an Employee at the same company. In 2004, they served as an Intern at Active Information Concept GmbH. Alexander then joined T-Systems International GmbH in 2005 to complete their Final thesis.

In 2005, they also began working at Weigle Wilczek GmbH, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Project Manager, Consultant Software Engineering, Trainer, and Team Leader Software Engineering. During this time, they supervised a development team, wrote articles for the German "Eclipse Magazin," and conducted book reviews for the German "Java Magazin."

In 2012, Alexander joined ACTICO as a Software Developer. Alexander has been with Furtwangen University since 2017 as a Gastdozent, contributing to teaching activities until 2020. Throughout their career, Alexander has gained expertise in software development, project management, consulting, and training.

Alexander Thurow received their Diplom in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Leuphana University of Lüneburg from 2001 to 2005. In 2003, they also had an Auslandssemester at the University of Sydney, where they studied Networks, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, and Concurrent Programming. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including being a Certified Eclipse RCP Trainer and Developer from the Eclipse Training Alliance in June and October 2006, respectively, and an IT Service Management Foundation certificate from ITIL in March 2006.
