Thorsten Petersmann

Thorsten Petersmann has extensive work experience in sales and marketing operations, controlling, and finance. Thorsten currently works at Actico as a Sales & Marketing Operations Manager and Sales & Marketing Controller, where they manage sales and marketing processes, is responsible for sales tools and planning, calculates sales provisions, and monitors performance. Prior to Actico, Thorsten worked at IBM Deutschland GmbH for over 30 years, holding various roles in sales controlling, sales operations, finance controlling, and marketing controlling. Their responsibilities included managing sales operations for digital sales, SME clients, cloud service providers, and hardware business in Germany, as well as SME clients in Europe and emerging markets. Thorsten also gained experience in project controlling and finance controlling in Europe.

Thorsten Petersmann completed an apprenticeship in office administration at Kaufmännische Berufsschule Düsseldorf from 1985 to 1987. Thorsten then pursued a Harzburg Diplom in Business Management/Betriebswirtschaft at AfW Bad Harzburg from 1996 to 1997. Continuing their education at the same institution, they obtained another Harzburg Diplom in Marketing Referent from 1997 to 1998.
