Paula Luokola

Paula Luokola has an extensive work experience in the field of medical diagnostics. Paula currently holds the position of Head of R&D at Actim, which is part of the Medix Biochemica Group. Prior to this, they worked at Aidian Oy (formerly Orion Diagnostica Oy) as Head of PLCM and Test System Development, where they led a team of professionals and managed the portfolio of product development and improvement projects. Paula also worked as a Product Manager, where they handled technical support and complaints for IVD products and represented the company in global exhibitions and congresses. Additionally, they have experience as an R&D specialist and Project Manager, responsible for managing point-of-care test development projects and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Paula Luokola obtained their Master's degree in Applied Biochemistry from the Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
