Joseph Valentine

Joseph Valentine is a Scientist II at Actio Biosciences, Inc., leading the Biology portfolio program. Prior to this, Joseph worked as a Scientist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California San Diego. Their research has focused on understanding catecholamine resistance in adipocytes and the role of inflammation and mitochondrial function in Alzheimer's disease and sarcopenia. Joseph holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
