Action for a Better Community
Shannon Kelly is an experienced professional in public health and community service with a strong background in health management and outreach. Currently serving as the Head Start Health and Nutrition Manager and Protect Your Circle Coordinator at Action for a Better Community, Inc., Shannon has previously held roles as a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Supervisor with the New York State Department of Health and Supervisor of Community Health with Rochester Regional Health. Shannon's experience includes working as a bilingual care manager at Trillium Health, where responsibilities involved coordinating health and social services for individuals with chronic conditions. Early career roles included outreach work with migrant and seasonal farmworkers and youth development in the Peace Corps. Shannon holds a Master of Public Health from the University at Buffalo's School of Public Health and Health Professions, among other educational qualifications.
