Sarah Pontious

Sarah Pontious is an accomplished Outreach and Engagement Manager with extensive experience in nonprofit management and community engagement. Currently employed at Action for Children of Central Ohio since November 2014, Sarah has developed targeted outreach strategies to enhance brand recognition and oversees a team managing a comprehensive database of over 1,600 child care providers. Previously, Sarah held leadership positions at Illinois Action for Children, where responsibilities included leading a 12-person team to deliver high-quality services and standardizing processes through detailed procedural manuals. Additional experience as a Teen Reach Coordinator at Alfred Campanelli YMCA and as a Master Counselor at Three Springs further underscores a strong background in youth programming and crisis intervention. Sarah holds an MBA in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from North Park University and a B.S. in Human Ecology from Michigan State University.
