Richard Bryars

Richard Bryars is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Director of Strategy & Implementation at Action for Children since May 2022, Richard has previously held significant positions such as Head of Strategy at The Co-op and Senior Director of Strategy at Asda, where responsibilities included developing corporate strategies and managing strategic planning processes. Expertise extends to board leadership with Childreach International and strategic advisory roles at John Lewis Partnership. Richard holds an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Social Business & Entrepreneurship from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
