Lex Schwartz

Lex Schwartz has extensive work experience in the education industry. They began as a Tutoring Manager at The Princeton Review in 2010 before moving onto a similar role at Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring in 2012. In 2013, they became a Senior Tutor at Swell Education for three years, exiting in 2016. In the same year, Lex joined Bay Area Tutoring Summit as a BATS Member, a position that lasted until May of 2023. Additionally, they worked as an ACT Content Expert and Writer at Versal in 2014. Also, they worked as a Tutoring Manager and then Lead Tutor at Swell Education Silicon Valley from 2016 until 2023. Currently, they are the Vice President at Action Industries, starting the position in 2023.

Lex Schwartz completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Education and Applied Psychology at UC Santa Barbara from 2006 to 2010. In 2014 and 2015, Schwartz pursued a Masters of Science in Sociology with a focus on Gender at the University of Amsterdam.
