Taahra Ghazi

Taahra Ghazi serves as Co-CEO at ActionAid UK since September 2017, previously holding roles such as Director of Innovation and Impact and Deputy Director of Communications. With a background in editorial and visual content management, Taahra led significant educational initiatives, including a 1.3 million Euro EC-funded education project across five countries and chairing the UK Global Campaign for Education. Prior experience includes directing Edukators, where Taahra engaged with various prominent organizations, and contributing as an Associate Consultant at a government agency, focusing on curriculum development. Taahra's early career features a leadership role at Global Action Schools, securing funding for projects recognized by UNESCO, and managing campaigns on youth engagement at ActionAid. Academic credentials include a BA Hons in English with African & Asian Studies from the University of Sussex and a PGCE in English with distinction from the University of Leeds.
