Ajay Ochani

Ajay Ochani is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Fundraising Director at ActionAid since August 2025, Ajay previously held significant roles, including Global Head of Fundraising at World Animal Protection and Director & Board Member at Direct Dialogue Initiatives India Pvt. Ltd. Notably, Ajay demonstrated expertise in driving fundraising strategies at Oxfam as Associate Director for Growth and at Greenpeace as Head of Supporter Engagement. Additionally, Ajay contributed to Save the Children International as Head of Regional Development and served on the Board of Directors for Save the Children Hong Kong. With a solid foundation in marketing as a former Marketing Manager at Travelport and Marketing Services Advisor at Hapag Lloyd, Ajay holds an MSc in Anthropology and a BA in Business Studies from Brunel University of London. Ajay is also actively involved as a Volunteer Fundraiser for Tomorrow's Foundation, focusing on supporting disabled children in Calcutta.
