Gabriel Villafuerte MD, PhD

Dr. Gabriel Villafuerte has a diverse work experience in the field of neuroscience and clinical research. Gabriel currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Actipulse Neuroscience ®, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they were the Head of Clinical Research at Actipulse Neuroscience ® from January 2019 to April 2020, where they played a crucial role in conducting research studies. Before joining Actipulse Neuroscience ®, they worked as a Research Collaborator with the company from March 2017 to December 2018. In addition to their industry experience, Dr. Villafuerte has also worked at UVM as an Associate Professor from August 2018 to December 2018. With their expertise in neuroscience and clinical research, Dr. Villafuerte has made significant contributions to the field.

Dr. Gabriel Villafuerte obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience at the same institution, which they successfully completed from 2015 to 2018.
