Lorna Mackie received their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2010, they attended Curtin University for a brief period to study Australian Tax and Australian Law, but did not obtain a degree in that field. Additionally, Lorna Mackie obtained the title of Fellow from the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in July 2015.
