Kelly Pettis started their career at Sanofi Pasteur in 2001, where they worked as Executive Travel Operations & Compliance until 2008. Kelly then moved on to Sky University, LLC as a Sr. Education Coordinator/HR Generalist from 2009 to 2011. After that, they worked at Penn State University as an Adjunct Professor from 2011 to 2013. In 2008, they joined RCC Associates as a Senior HR Consultant until 2013, where they were responsible for extensive recruiting, training and development, HR consulting, and career counseling. From 2010 to 2015, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Northampton Community College. In 2013, they joined Olympus Corporation of the Americas, first as Manager of Diversity & Inclusion, responsible for leading D&I strategy and programs, and later as Media Manager, Professional Education from 2019. Currently, they work at Activ Surgical as the Director of Employee Engagement & HCP Compliance, focusing on building a strong company culture and HR leadership.
Kelly Pettis has a diverse education history. Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from DeSales University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Northampton Community College from 2004 to 2006, majoring in Communications but did not obtain a degree. After completing their undergraduate studies, Kelly pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Communication & Leadership at Seton Hall University, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Kelly has also obtained two certifications. In June 2019, they received a Basic Keelboat Certification from US Sailing, and in May 2018, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Olympus Corporation of the Americas.
