Dale Sutherland has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry and forensic science. Dale started their career in 1979 as an Environmental Chemist at Canada Centre for Inland Waters. Dale then worked at Mann Testing Laboratories as a Research & Development Chemist from 1984 to 1985. In 1985, they joined the Ontario Ministry of the Environment as a Contaminants Research Scientist, and in 1987, they became the Chief Chemist at Canviro Analytical Laboratories. From 1993 to 1995, they served as the Director of Dioxin Technologies at Canviro Analytical Laboratories. Later, in 1995, they joined Activation Laboratories Ltd., where they held various positions including Organic Geochemist and Manager, Forensic Scientist, and Director of Research. Dale Sutherland's education history indicates that in 1973, they started attending McMaster University and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Organic Chemistry. This degree lasted until 1978. At the same time, from 1973 to 1977, Dale also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Geography at McMaster University. Following this, in 1979, Dale attended the University of Toronto and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education - Science.
