Philip Scalzo

After graduating from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Montclair State University in Mathematics and Physics, Phil completed an MBA in Corporate Finance at the Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, New Jersey. Phil has held senior leadership positions at The Williams Companies, Merit Energy Ventures, and the Keogh Group where he gained extensive knowledge of, and experience in, energy-related technologies, energy policy, regulatory affairs, energy risk management, product development, clean coal technology, biomass and emissions control.

As President and CEO of North American Biomass Inc., Phil transitioned the firm from a technology development company to a successful manufacturing company. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer and Managing Member of Biomass Energy Enhancements.

Phil is Chief Technology Officer of Active Energy Group and has worked with the Company since 2015.
