Benjamin Delatte, PhD has an extensive work experience in the field of epigenomics and epitranscriptomics. Benjamin is currently a Staff Scientist and the Group Leader of the Epigenomics/Epitranscriptomics Group at Active Motif since May 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Scientist and Group Leader at the same company from August 2019 to May 2022, where they successfully launched products such as the PIXUL sonicator and ATAC-seq kit.

In addition, Benjamin served as a Transformative Leadership Program Board Member at the University of California, Riverside starting in October 2021.

Benjamin also worked as a Journal Editor for Biochemical Genetics at Springer Nature Technology and Publishing Solutions in 2018.

Benjamin gained experience in assay development as a Scientist II at Encodia, Inc. from January 2019 to July 2019.

Before their industry roles, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Epigenomics at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology from October 2014 to January 2019.

Benjamin Delatte, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in molecular biology from the Free University of Brussels, Cancer Epigenetics program. Benjamin pursued this degree from 2010 to 2014.
