Susan Miller has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Susan started their career at Immunetech Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate, where they supervised and performed cell-based assays and conducted various chromatography techniques. Susan then moved on to Hybritech Inc. as a Quality Control Analyst and later became a Lead Production Chemist, specializing in antibody conjugations and managing GMP programs.

Susan then joined Canji Inc./Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Bioanalytical Scientist, where they developed and validated assays for characterization of Adenovirus vectors using HPLC. At Dow Chemical, they worked as a Biochemist, developing and implementing bioanalytical methods for protein characterization and performing sample extraction and purification.

Continuing their career, Susan served as a Contract Research Associate at Ceregene Inc., where they conducted qualification and stability testing of new Adeno-Associated Virus products. At aTyr Pharma, they worked as a Contract Research Associate, developing ELISA for pharmokinetic studies and implementing affinity purification processes. Susan also evaluated methods for disease marker depletion and quantitation in patient serum samples.

Susan's experience also includes roles as a Contract QC Formulations Specialist at Genmark Dx, a Contract Analytical Biochemist Scientist at Pfenex Inc., and a Project Manager at MicroConstants. In these positions, they performed various tasks such as formulating reagents, managing projects, communicating with clients, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Currently, Susan is employed at Active Motif as a Research Associate. Their responsibilities include performing clinical testing using Luminex Multiplex analysis, purifying transfections, and analyzing the expression and binding of recombinant antibodies.

Susan Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from San Diego State University, which they attended from 1980 to 1984.
