Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Active Voice Magazine

Navin Desai is the National Coordinator at Fridays for Future US and the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Active Voice Magazine. Navin also has experience as an Environmental Health Research Intern at The Johns Hopkins University and as a Legislative Intern at The Maryland General Assembly. Additionally, Navin has been a Yale Young Global Scholar and a Policy Institute Environmental Justice Fellow at Georgetown Day School. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Harvard University, Navin has a strong background in environmental activism and legislation.

Active Voice Magazine

Active Voice is a youth-run literary and artistic activism publication aiming to bolster engagement in the social justice and political issues that define our time. Founded in 2022, the magazine sees a power in youth voices to enact change and inspire others to do the same. Active Voice has attracted submissions from award-winning poets and artists from across the country and is continuing to expand its reach and impact. We are partners with Youth Speaks, One Story Magazine, Writopia Lab, and Ecosystemic Magazine.
