Jatani Bonaya Godana

Jatani Bonaya Godana has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Their most recent position is as the Director of Communications at Active Youth, which they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor at the University of Dilla starting in October 2017. From October 2019 to November 2021, they were a Researcher and Postgraduate Student at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University. Jatani Bonaya also gained experience as a Site Engineer at Getahun Yemane Bld.Contructor from April 2019 to May 2021. In addition, they worked as a Groundwater drilling assistant Engineer at WaterAid in July and September 2016. Jatani Bonaya Godana has a strong educational background in engineering and project management. Jatani Bonaya began their education at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Supply and Sanitary Engineering in 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Jatani pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the same university, completing the program in 2021. During their time as a graduate student, they also achieved a Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

In 2021, Jatani furthered their education by acquiring additional certifications. Jatani Bonaya obtained an MBA certificate from European MBA and received the Best Position Paper Award from Intercontinental Youth Connect. Jatani Bonaya also received a Certificate of Appreciation from AYLMUM.

Jatani's commitment to education continued in 2022 when they enrolled in Skillmart International College for a Master of Science degree in Project Management Analysis and Evaluation, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
