Gur Kimchi

Gur Kimchi has extensive work experience in the field of technology and aerospace. Gur is currently the Co-Founder and Board Member of Datablanket, where they focus on "Digitizing Firefighting." Gur is also the Co-Founder and Non-Executive Chairperson of Aerolane, as well as an Independent Board Member and Technical Fellow at Ascent AeroSystems. Additionally, Gur Kimchi serves as an Independent Board Member and Certification Committee Chair at Vertical Aerospace, an Independent Board Member at Near Earth Autonomy, and an Advisor at Opteran, New Vista Acquisition Corp, Weel, and The Building Machines Company. Gur has also worked as a Subject Matter Expert in AI, Autonomy, Robotics, and Safety at NASA.

Gur Kimchi attended the School of Hard Knocks from 1993 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Learn from Failures. During this time, they focused on studying various subjects, including Driving TRLs, DfXs (Design for Excellence), Productivity, and OODA (Observation, Orientation, Decision, Action) loops.
