José Silva

José Silva has eight years of work experience in web development. In 2021, they began working as the Lead Frontend Developer at ActivePrime. Prior to that, they worked at Jumia Group from 2014-2021, where they held several roles, including Lead Frontend Developer @ JumiaPay, Frontend Developer @ JumiaPay, Frontend Developer @ J-Force, Frontend Developer @ Jumia Flights, and Web Developer @ Jumia Travel (formerly Jovago.com). From 2013-2014, they worked at Glintt as a Web Developer and Student Researcher. In 2012, they worked at Increase Time as a Web Developer, where they were part of a team that developed an health information system called Citizens.

José Silva received their high school diploma from Escola Secundária Rocha Peixoto in 2008 and went on to pursue a Master's degree in Informatics at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they completed in 2013. José also has a number of certifications from MongoDB, Inc. and Code School, including a M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers certification obtained in March 2016 and a M102: MongoDB for DBAs certification obtained in February 2016.
