Tom Legal

Tom Legal is an experienced technology leader specializing in operations and infrastructure within the gaming industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Tools and Infrastructure at Activision since August 2013, Tom has been responsible for strategic direction and inter-studio relations in the Vancouver Central Technology department. Previously, Tom held multiple roles at Radical Entertainment from 1997 to 2013, including Director of Operations and Development Director, where leadership contributions included managing the development of a companion app for Bungie's Destiny and overseeing budgets for major titles like Prototype 2. Tom's technical expertise was further demonstrated through roles such as Senior Technical Director and Lead Interface Programmer at Radical Entertainment. Earlier career experiences include software development positions at MPR Teltech Ltd. and Bell-Northern Research. Tom has completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership and holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
