Fran Whitaker

Fran Whitaker has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. In 2001, they started their career as a swimmer for ParalympicsGB and continued until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Champion for Whizz-Kidz, advocating for disabled children. In 2012, they joined ParalympicsGB again, this time as the Paralympian's Club Manager until 2013. From 2012 to 2017, they served as an Athlete Mentor for the Youth Sport Trust. In 2013, they became a Trustee at Activity Alliance, a role they continue to hold. Fran also served as a Trustee for Cerebral Palsy Sport from 2015 to 2017. In 2005, they began working as a Motivational Speaker, delivering talks to different groups. Fran has also been a Patron for disability huntingdonshire since 2008. In 2018, they took on the role of Recruitment Consultant for TAP - The Ability People. Additionally, in the same year, they founded The Happy Journals PLR Club where they design personal development tools, offers consulting services, and provides internet marketing guidance.

Fran Whitaker received a BA Hons - First Class degree in Social Policy from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. They then pursued further education at the University of Leeds, obtaining an MA in Disability Studies, which they completed between 2009 and 2012.
