Marcus Vinicius De Paula

Marcus Vinicius De Paula has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analysis. Marcus Vinicius is currently employed at Programmers IT as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, working on a project for Anheuser Busch as a BI Engineer contractor. Their responsibilities include BI requirements gathering, designing and developing scalable data models, and creating analysis and reports using Power BI. Marcus Vinicius also has experience as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Actminds, Inc., where they are currently employed.

Prior to their current roles, Marcus worked as a Senior Data Analyst at YDUQS, where they were responsible for data analysis and reporting. Marcus Vinicius also worked at NORDICA - Grupo ITG as a Senior Data Analyst, where they played a key role in planning and engineering data architecture, designing and developing reports and dashboards, and successfully migrating legacy BI processes to Microsoft solutions.

Marcus Vinicius started their career as a Technical Support Technician at PC Service Tecnologia Ltda, where they provided support and maintenance for various IT systems and traveled extensively to different cities.

Throughout their career, Marcus has demonstrated a strong skill set in business intelligence, data analysis, and IT support. Their expertise in data modeling, report development, and using tools such as Power BI and SQL Server has contributed to the successful completion of projects in multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals and entertainment.

Marcus Vinicius De Paula completed their postgraduate studies in Analytics and Business Intelligence at PUC Minas from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate degree in Gestão Estratégica Internacional at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 2012 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Marcus Vinicius De Paula has obtained several certifications. Marcus Vinicius became an Arc Certified Remote Developer through Arc.dev in May 2023. In September 2020, they participated in the Mentorship Program in Data Science at Data Science Academy. Marcus Vinicius also completed certifications in Microsoft Power BI for Data Science, BigData Analytics with R Language and Azure ML Studio, Big Data Fundamentos, and Introduction to Data Science, all from Data Science Academy, in 2019. In 2016, they attained an MBA, Jr. from IEG - Instituto de Engenharia de Gestão. Marcus Vinicius De Paula holds Microsoft certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Specialist (December 2015), as well as a Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate (March 2021). Marcus Vinicius recently became a Microsoft Certified Trainer in January 2023.
