Andrey Korshikov

Andrey Korshikov has a wide range of work experience in various roles and companies. Andrey started their career in 2003 as a Senior Developer at CJSC "SRIDS InjGeo", where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined Portal-Ug Ltd. as a Developer-consultant and stayed with the company until 2011.

In 2010, Andrey also began working with conferences, where they took on roles as an owner and speaker. As an owner, they organized and managed events such as the Microsoft BI Technical Conference 2011 and the 24 Hours of PASS. As a speaker, they presented at various conferences, including Platforma 2011, TechEd'Russia 2012, and SQLSaturday events in Moscow and Kharkov.

In 2012, Andrey joined Actsoft as a Data Engineer and continued working there until the present day. Additionally, they took on the position of Regional Mentor for Central Eastern Europe at PASS from 2012 to 2016.

Furthermore, Andrey was also actively involved with the Global Russian Virtual Chapter, where they served as a lead from 2013 to 2017. Overall, Andrey has demonstrated a strong passion for data engineering, conference organization, and mentoring within the technology industry.

Andrey Korshikov attended Kuban State University (KubSU) from 1993 to 1998, where they studied applied mathematics. Andrey obtained several certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Data Science Orientation in October 2016. Other certifications include MOS: Microsoft Outlook 2010 and MOS: Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, both obtained in February 2012. Andrey also obtained various Microsoft certifications, such as MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 in December 2009, MCITP: Database Administrator 2008(*Charter) in April 2009, and MCITP: Database Developer 2008(*Charter) in September 2008, among others. Additionally, they obtained the MCDBA: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 certification in August 2005 and the MCSE: Business Intelligence certification in June 2013, and the MCSE: Data Platform(*Charter) certification in October 2012.
