Robert Barrett

Robert Barrett has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on energy conservation and efficiency. Robert is currently working as a Senior Client Executive at Actual Energy, Inc., where they sell electricity to commercial customers in the ISO New England area. Prior to this, they served as an Independent Energy Consultant at EY & Brainbox AI, providing smart building and energy management solutions to large commercial buildings and institutions.

Before their role at EY & Brainbox AI, Robert worked as an Account Executive at Albireo Energy, where they provided building automation and energy services to commercial and institutional buildings nationally. Robert also served as a Business Development Manager at PowerTrak Efficiency Systems, specializing in LED lighting and HVAC controls for energy conservation.

Additionally, Robert has experience as an Energy Consultant, both independently and with New England Energy Management. In these roles, they worked with utility rebate programs and RFPs to help customers save energy through lighting and other measures. Robert also has previous experience as a Business Manager at Trident-ITW and as a Program Manager at walbro automotive.

Robert Barrett completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at Manhattan College from 1980 to 1984. In 2008, they obtained a certification as a Sharp Certified Installer in Solar System Design and Installation from Sharp Solar. Additionally, they acquired a certification in "Learning Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies" from LinkedIn in October 2021.
