Mehari K. Tesfay

Mehari K. Tesfay is an experienced Energy Data Scientist at ACTuate Facility Technologies, specializing in predictive modeling for energy demand forecasting, machine learning algorithms, and IoT frameworks for smart building transformation. Previously, Mehari held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, contributing to AI and MEMS research while also serving as a Lecturer at Bahir Dar University, where lectures focused on robotics and automation. Mehari holds a PhD in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering with a specialization in Robotics from Università di Trento, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mekelle University.
