Ian M. Charney

Ian is responsible for managing Actuated’s manufacturing activities and ensuring that production, performance, and quality standards are met. He ensures that the production of existing products, such as the TubeClear System is FDA cGMP compliant and works with engineers to transition new products through V&V and scale-up and into efficient production. Ian’s experience in research and development also allows him to act as a manufacturing advisor to engineers during the development process. Ian is also tasked with leading the contract development and manufacturing projects. Ian earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
