Lukas Gabor, Ph.D.

Lukas Gabor, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Project Manager at Navazon a.s. until 2016. From 2015 to 2017, they were a GIS analyst at Veolia Water. In 2016, they joined the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague as a Career Center Project Manager, a position they held until 2023. In 2017, Lukas also served as a Visiting Researcher at the Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung GmbH. In 2020, they founded ECO X and served as its CEO until 2023. Lukas furthered their academic pursuits by becoming a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Yale University in 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Consultant AI & Data at ACTUM Digital, where they provide expert guidance in leveraging advanced technologies and data analysis to optimize business strategies.

Lukas Gabor, Ph.D., has an extensive education history. In 2014, they earned their Master's degree in Environmental Studies from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, specifically from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences. Following this, they pursued their doctoral studies at the same institution from 2016 to 2020, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied and Landscape Ecology. During their doctoral studies, in 2018, they briefly studied Environmental Studies at the University of Florida. In 2019, Lukas further expanded their knowledge by studying Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at North Carolina State University. Finally, from 2021 to 2025, they obtained their second Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Spatial Sciences from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
