Karen Shelton

Karen Shelton is the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Acuity Brands. Karen has held this position since January 2001. Prior to that, they were the Associate Counsel at Acuity Brands from January 1997 to December 2008. Karen was also the Senior Counsel, Technology at National Service Industries from January 1997 to December 2001. Shelton began their career as an Associate General Counsel at Dun & Bradstreet Software from January 1991 to December 1997. Karen then worked as an Associate at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP (formerly Kilpatrick and Cody) from January 1987 to December 1991.

Karen Shelton attended Duke University School of Law and University of Virginia. Karen received their JD from Duke University School of Law.
