Samantha Chi

Samantha Chi has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Samantha started their career as an Auditing Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2004, where they prepared reports and assisted with directing calls during audits. In 2011, they worked as an Accounting Intern at Lux Properties, Inc, where they gained experience in inputting invoices, reconciling accounts, and auditing employee credit card purchases. In 2012, they became a Staff Accountant at The Redbury Hotel, handling full-cycle accounting duties and cash-handling tasks. Samantha then joined Acuity Eye Group in 2013 as a Senior Staff Accountant, responsible for full cycle accounting and presenting financials to senior stakeholders. Samantha later progressed to roles including Accounting Manager, Financial Controller, and VP of Finance & Accounting. In these positions, they oversaw accounting departments, implemented process improvements, and managed financial operations for a company with revenues exceeding $90 million.

Samantha Chi received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
