Avijit Nandy

Avijit Nandy has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Research Associate at Giri Institute of Development Studies in 2015. Avijit then worked as an Associate at PWC SDC Kolkata, where they were involved in various activities including statistical modeling, R programming, data mining, and dashboard creation.

From 2018 to 2021, Avijit worked at Moody's Investors Service, initially as a Financial Data Analyst and later as a Lead Financial Data Analyst. In these roles, they performed financial analysis, developed rating methodologies, and conducted portfolio reviews.

In 2021, Avijit joined OakNorth as an Associate, where they developed econometric models using panel data and time series analysis. Avijit provided actionable insights by forecasting economic variables and aiding sector-specific analysis.

Their current role is as a Delivery Lead at Acuity Knowledge Partners, where they leverage high-frequency FOREX data to develop statistical models for identifying profitable trading opportunities. Additionally, they work on the macroeconomic impact of option strategies and builds trading strategies and quantitative models.

Avijit Nandy completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University during the period of 2013-2015. In 2016, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics from Times Pro. Nandy also pursued a Financial Analysis Pro Degree in Finance, General from Imarticus Learning for the year 2019.
