Kenji Kuramoto

Founder and CEO of Acuity at Acuity Accounting

Kenji Kuramoto has a diverse work experience, holding various roles in different companies throughout their career. Kenji started as an Assurance and Advisory Services professional at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1995 and later became the Vice President of Finance & Administration at Intellinet Corporation in 2000. In 2004, they founded AcuityCFO and served as its Founder until 2020. During this time, they also co-founded AcuityInvests and held the role of Co-Founder. In 2013, they became the CEO of Acuity and continues to hold this position. Additionally, they have been a member of several advisory councils, including Gusto Partner Advisory Council (GPAC), Xero Partner Advisory Council (XPAC), FreshBooks Partner Advisory Council (FreshPAC), and Expensify Steering Committee. Currently, they are the Market Director at VentureSouth.

Kenji Kuramoto obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Kenji also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from The Georgia Society of CPAs, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
