Mark Williams

Mark Williams is an experienced SOC Manager currently at Acumen since March 2024, previously holding the same title at Silver Cloud and Adarma Security from 2015 to March 2024. Prior to these roles, Mark served as the Head of Security for the University of Dundee from 2002 to 2015, where responsibilities included managing IT security operations and successfully advancing the institution's security posture. Mark's extensive background also includes roles as an Information Security Specialist, where new security controls were implemented, and as a System Specialist, which resulted in rapid incident response improvements. Earlier in their career, Mark was a Computing Lecturer and IT Support Technician at Lauder College, as well as an Infantry Soldier in the British Army from 1993 to 1999. Mark's educational background includes studies at Lauder College and FireBrand.
