Carlos Alberto Ramirez

Carlos joined Acumen in 2021 as Portfolio Senior Associate and focuses on sourcing new investment opportunities and supporting Acumen’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Acumen, Carlos was part of Lenus Capital Partners, a Healthcare private equity fund and Jamestown a Real State Private Equity Fund where he participated in the development, structuring and control of transactions in Colombia, Peru and Chile. Additionally, Carlos worked in financial consulting for Accenture and Ernst & Young where he had the opportunity to work for different industries and companies in LATAM.

During the university Carlos did a summer internship in Deloitte and worked during his last semester in Polymath Ventures where he was part of the team in charge of growing and developing VincuVentas, one of the company's Startups.

Carlos is a Business Administrator from La Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
