Reed D. Walters, CIMA®, serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Strategist at Acumen Wealth Advisors, LLC® since September 2025, overseeing the firm’s investment decisions and aligning strategies with client goals. Previously, Reed held key positions including Senior Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Principal Street Partners, and Senior Investment Manager at Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities included leading investment committees and formulating targeted strategies. Reed’s career milestones also encompass roles as President and Head of Investments at RDW Investments, Managing Director and Head of Global Equities at Nuveen, and Chief Investment Officer at Sector Capital Management, among others. Educational qualifications include an MBA and BBA from the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis, in addition to a CIMA® designation from The Wharton School.
