Douglas Foy has held a number of leadership positions in their career. Douglas began their work experience in 1977 as the President of the Conservation Law Foundation. Douglas then served as Secretary of Commonwealth Development from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they became a Director of Acumentrics Corporation and in 2006, they were appointed President of Serrafix Corporation. In 2009, they were appointed Director of Greener U, Inc. and in 2010 they became the Chairman of Rainbank and Director of Ameresco.
Douglas Foy attended Princeton University from 1965 to 1969, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Physics (BSEE). Douglas then studied Geophysics at the University of Cambridge from 1969 to 1970. Finally, they attended Harvard Law School from 1970 to 1973, where they earned a Juris Doctor (JD).
