Lucinda Guthrie

Lucinda Guthrie is the Deputy Editor in Chief at Acuris. Lucinda has over a decade of experience in the corporate finance world.

Lucinda started their career at Financial Times Group - Dealreporter in December 2008 as the Editor for Europe. Lucinda managed a team of thirteen journalists who wrote European breaking news on M&A, shareholder activism, and capital markets news.

In June 2013, they became the Deputy Editor in Chief at Dealreporter. In this role, they led a global team focused on breaking news and detailed analysis on a variety of corporate actions including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory changes, and equity capital markets.

Lucinda has been instrumental in strategic content development, copy editing, reporting, recruiting, and assisting PR and marketing. Some of their notable achievements include news editing for high profile company news, launching new coverage areas such as their new equity capital markets platform in North America, and working with product development on new features for their website.

Lucinda is a frequent speaker at industry events. Some of their notable speaking engagements include their special MOFCOM briefing.

Lucinda Guthrie has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, a Post Graduate Certificate in Journalism from the National Council for the Training of Journalists, and a BA hons in English Literature and Film (2:1) from Northumbria University.
