Wim Bories

Wim Bories is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical engineering and clinical therapies, currently serving as a Principal Technical Consultant at Medtronic since May 2025 and as a Senior Clinical Therapy Specialist at Acutus Medical, Inc. since February 2020. Bories has held various positions at Acutus Medical, including Clinical Therapy Specialist and Therapy Development & Physician Education Manager for Europe. Bories also contributed as a member of the EHRA Certification Committee at the European Society of Cardiology from September 2018 to January 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an engineer and coordinator in the cardiology department at UZA Antwerp University Hospital from July 2005 to January 2020. Bories holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven, a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist designation from IBHRE, and a Master of Science in Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
