Stephen Shary

Stephen Shary has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Stephen is currently working at ACV Auctions as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have played a crucial role in building and designing the core systems of the company. Stephen has also helped the company grow significantly and started multiple successful teams. Prior to ACV Auctions, Stephen worked at Kroger as a Technical Lead, where they were involved in the redesign of customer facing web and mobile platforms. Before that, they worked at PCMS Datafit as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led multiple projects and played a key role in the deployment of various systems for well-known companies. Stephen's early career includes roles at PDmB Inspection Software as a Software Engineer and at ASICOM and Rockwell Automation as technical support and software engineering co-op respectively.

Stephen Shary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. Stephen also earned a Master of Science degree in Science with a focus on Computer Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. Additionally, Stephen Shary has obtained several certifications in various machine learning and deep learning topics from Coursera in 2018.
