Abhijay Awasthi

Abhijay Awasthi currently serves as Executive Manager for Green Hydrogen & Derivatives at ACWA Power since April 2023. Prior roles include Technology Lead for the Hydrogen Value Chain at Reliance Industries Limited from July 2021 to March 2023, and Computational Scientist at Shell from February 2018 to July 2021, focusing on green hydrogen production and decarbonization initiatives. Awasthi's experience also includes a tenure as a Doctoral Researcher at NWO from September 2013 to November 2017, specializing in biomass gasification and high-performance computing. Earlier in the career, Awasthi managed a mega petcoke gasification project at Reliance Industries Limited from July 2010 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, a dual Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and additional professional studies in Architecture and Systems Engineering through MIT xPRO.
