Atanu Das

Atanu Das has extensive work experience in project finance and acquisitions. Atanu started their career as a Project Executive at PNB Asset Management Co. Ltd. in 1996. Atanu then moved on to Credit Analysis & Research Limited as a Rating Analyst from 1998 to 2000. After that, they joined IL&FS as a Senior Manager until 2005.

In 2005, Atanu joined Mashreqbank, Dubai, where they held the position of Director in Project & Structured Finance. Atanu was responsible for business origination and structuring, and served as a senior level transactor until 2013.

Since 2013, Atanu has been associated with ACWA Power. Atanu started as a Director in Acquisitions & Project Finance and gradually moved up the ranks, serving as an Executive Director from 2014 to 2017, Vice President from 2018 until the present, and currently holds the position of Head of Project Finance.

Atanu Das obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee between 1989 and 1993. Atanu later pursued an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi, completing it from 1994 to 1996.
