Badar Farooq

Badar Farooq is an experienced professional in health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) management, currently serving as Executive Manager at ACWA Power since July 2020, with prior experience as Senior Manager in the same field. With a strong background working in diverse regions including UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, India, Russia, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, Badar Farooq has successfully managed HSSE for significant oil and gas projects at Petrofac from December 2012 to February 2020. Previous roles include PMC HSE Coordinator at ADNOC Group and Environmental Consultant at URS Corporation. Badar Farooq holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the American University of Sharjah and a Mini MBA from PwC Academy.
