Chiara Furfari

Chiara Furfari, ADIT is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in international tax matters, particularly in the Middle East and Africa regions. Currently serving as Senior Manager for International Tax at ACWA Power, Chiara oversees tax strategy and risk assessments for new energy bids across multiple countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa. Prior to this role, Chiara held several positions at Deloitte, where responsibilities included corporate tax impact assessments and the implementation of key tax regulations. Chiara also worked at EY, focusing on international tax consultancy and transaction services, and gained legal experience at Baitulhikma law firm and the Embassy of Italy to the UAE. Academic credentials include an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation and an Integrated Master of Arts in Law from Università Bocconi.
