Kumru Ozocak Carkit has over 20 years of experience in strategic HR management and business transformation. KUMRU is currently serving as the Vice President of People & Business Partner at ACWA Power, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the People Strategy, driving HR integration projects, and coaching executive leaders in transformational change. Prior to this, they worked at du Telco as the Head of Organizational Development, where they developed and executed HR strategies, implemented change management initiatives, and aligned performance objectives with strategic goals. Earlier in their career, they held HR leadership positions at Hilti Emirates L.L.C., DHL, Alshaya Group, and Hyundai Assan, where they contributed to the development and implementation of people strategies, managed HR teams, and ensured compliance with policies and labor laws.

Kumru Ozocak Carkit obtained an MBA in Human Resources Management & Development from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, Kumru completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science & Public Administration from the same university between 1993 and 1997. Additionally, Kumru has obtained certifications in Certified Strength Coach from Gallup in 2018, Strategy Execution from Palladium: Make It Possible in 2015, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Motorola Solutions, and PMP® Certification Training Course from the Project Management Institute.
